Each wedding is on a one hour schedule. This includes
the ceremony, time taking photos and paperwork. Your hour begins 30 minutes
before the hour and 30 minutes past. For example: Your wedding time is 4:00p.m.

When do we receive our
Our photographs are taken digitally and are posted on a
web site for your review. With a username and password provided to you, you will
be able to view and order as many pictures as you want online. It take us 3-5
days to edit and upload all of the pictures.
Is there a dressing
NO, you should arrive dressed for you ceremony.
What music do you play?
We play standard wedding ceremony tunes. You are more
than welcome to bring your own music to personalize your ceremony. If you do
choose to bring your own music, please make sure to have the songs in order, and
email them to us 3 days prior to your ceremony.
How can we get a live
singer or a live musician to perform at our ceremony?
We will be more than happy to arrange a live singer or
musician for you, or you may make your own arrangements.
When do I need to get a
You need to obtain a marriage license prior to your
wedding ceremony. The license is valid for 90 days from the day of issuance.
Where can we obtain a
You can obtain your license either by personally
appearing at the County Recorder office or from a notary public that acts as an
authorized agent of the LA County Recorder.
There are only 6 county clerk offices in all of Los
Angeles County that serve a population of over 10 million people. Along with the
issuance of marriage license, the County Recorder also deals with many other
types of government documents. Most County Recorder offices are open Monday-
Friday, and close by 3:30pm. Los Angeles County Clerk’s offices require both
parties to appear together to obtain a marriage license. The amount of time
spent driving to the local County Recorder office, as well as a wait time that
can be in excess of 2 hours, means that you could easily spend the entire work
day trying to obtain your marriage license. Therefore, we highly recommend you
get your license through our online application.

What is the difference between a public and a confidential marriage license?
Both types of marriage licenses are legally valid.
A public marriage license is a public record. The
license allows you to hold the ceremony anywhere within the State of California
and you are required to have at least one witness present during the ceremony.
A confidential marriage license requires the couple
to be living together prior to applying for the
license. There is no time requirement as to how
long the couple has lived together. Witness are not required and the marriage record is confidential and can be
available only to the couple.
Can we get married
without a marriage license?
We can perform a ceremony without a marriage license,
but it would not be a legal ceremony. If you are looking to get legally married,
then yes, you will need a marriage license. Otherwise, we can perform a ceremony
just for your pleasure, and the experience.
Do we need a witness?
We include a witness with every ceremony if needed.
However, one of your friends or family members can serve as your witness if
desired. If you obtain a confidential marriage license, no witnesses are

Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy?
Make sure you’re committed to your date and time before
you make your reservation.
You have up to 12 months from the original wedding date to reschedule with no
questions asked and no penalty fees. However, payment is non-refundable. Torescheduleyour
ceremony, simply login to ourbooking system. You can then change the
location and time of your ceremony based on availability.
Does the Mobile Wedding
Chapel have a late policy?
Yes. Running late can be an issue as we will most likely
have a wedding scheduled after yours. If the ceremony is delayed more than 10
minutes, a late fee of a $100 will be applied. If the ceremony is more than 20
minutes late, Mobile Wedding Chapel reserves the right to postpone or reschedule
What is your "Bad
To eliminate endless disagreements, we’ve had to take
the simple position of NO REFUND due to bad weather – only reschedules. Judging
the weather is very subjective and it’s your decision if it’s too wet or too
cold – however, you’re still required to call us. "No Shows" will be considered
as a cancellation and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
